cer3580 Variable Interest Entities 0 Mar 17 2010, 11:33 AM EDT by cer3580

Does anyone know of a good resource to understand accounting for variable interest entities? We've got an audit client where we have recommended consolidating entities, however, there are no guarantees and debt is nonrecourse. We aren't sure we made the correct decision. Help! :)

clarklarry Evolve Management, LLC Offers Value Driven Leadership Service to Busin 0 Mar 17 2009, 8:23 AM EDT by clarklarry

Hello friends and colleagues,

I am sending this out to let you know that my partners and I recently launched our new firm, Evolve Management, LLC (www.EvolveYour.Biz). Our charge is to help businesses by providing on-call, part-time (fractional) and interim senior executives (CXOs and VPs), as well as Board of Advisor members. Our senior executive pool consisting of Evolve CXOs represents the seven core organizational disciplines (Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal Affairs, Marketing, Operations, and Sales). Small to mid-sized businesses have a significant need for skills and experience in these disciplines, but they either cannot afford or do not have the need for full-time senior executives in each of these areas. This lack of leadership often leads to unacceptable corporate value and performance, particularly in the areas of growth, productivity, and effectiveness. Our solution helps these businesses by allowing them to have senior leadership when and where they need them and at a price that is a fraction of what it costs for full time CXOs. This model also allows you to “test-drive” a CXO before filling a full-time position.

Btw, here is a link to our recent press release

Action item: Please contact me or Jay Rao ( jrao@evolveyour.biz ) if you know of anyone who might be interested in either utilizing or being an Evolve CXO or if you know someone who might be in need!

Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.
